Eddie and family have been in Marin and Sonoma Counties for a few generations, farming the home ranch and tending to his 50 acre parcel which includes the nursery and pinot noir vineyards. Possessing an encyclopedic memory, mechanical aptitude, and friendly nature, Eddie enjoys working with people from all walks of life. He and his wife Susie Sweet built the nursery from scratch, beginning in the year 2000; brokering, growing, and delivering plants for projects throughout the Bay Area. He is currently assigned to special projects geared toward whatever is at the top of the list, meaning, he is fixing whatever just broke, or is working on yet another creative endeavor.
Joe is a landscape architect and business manager with more than 35 years of experience in the industry. He loves a challenge and in addition to managing the business, has been working on expanding the nursery’s specimen grade inventory, improving quality, and developing new sources for material. Several times a year he visits the growers’ fields to hand-select trees for our clients. With experience ranging across many disciplines, he has worked with Eddie to enhance the facilities, designing and installing a 50kWh solar array to power the nursery, expanding production capabilities, and developing strategies for improving our ability to deliver the goods.
